Minnesota Tamil Sangam (MNTS)

Minnesota Tamil Sangam (MNTS) Minnesota Tamil Sangam (MNTS) is a member-based cultural organization serving the Tamil community of Minnesota. As a non-profit organization, our objective is to support the Tamil language and culture by bringing people together through social and cultural activities. We also wish to instill the love of Tamil language in children of Tamil-speaking families in Minnesota. MNTS is a non-religious and non-political organization that strives to include all members of the Minnesota Tamil community. Minnesota Tamil Sangam is committed to keeping the Tamil heritage alive in Minnesota by celebrating cultural events throughout the year. The spring and summer feature events like Kodai Vizhaa, Muthamil Vizhaa, picnics, and student competitions in Tamil speech, Tamil spelling bee, Thirukkural, and essay writing. The fall and winter activities focus on Pongal weekend, which is celebrated in January with a large cultural program.
